Vienna

Vienna, Austria - 2022 Danube River cruise. Vienna is the largest city on the Danube River and one of the best preserved of the old western European capitals. The old city has lots of Baroque buildings, parks and infrastructure dating back to the Habsburg rule of Empress Maria Theresia (1740 - 1780) and up to the end of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918. We spent most of a day walking through the old city or Ring Boulevard.
